論文概要:This study investigates the energy consumption and indoor thermal environment of rural residential buildings in Zhejiang, China, with a focus on the growing rural tourism industry. Rural tourism households, which differ significantly from ordinary households in terms of energy use and building characteristics, were analyzed to develop strategies for improving energy efficiency and indoor comfort.

Field surveys and measurements were conducted on 230 households across Quzhou, Anji, and Zhoushan, including 10 detailed case studies. The findings show that rural tourism households consume 3–5 times more energy annually than ordinary households, with electricity and LPG being the main contributors. Cooling energy consumption is particularly high, accounting for 24–39% of electricity use. Indoor thermal environments were found to be substandard, with temperatures below 8°C in winter and above 30°C in summer, especially in top-floor rooms and south-facing rooms with large windows.

Through simulation using DesignBuilder software, energy-saving strategies were developed, focusing on envelope improvements such as walls, roofs, windows, and airtightness. Results indicate significant energy savings and improved thermal comfort, particularly for modern rural buildings with smaller shape coefficients and lower window-to-wall ratios. Cooling and heating energy consumption varied by region, with lower energy use observed in cooler climates like Zhoushan.

Strategies to enhance indoor thermal environments include improving building envelopes and renovating roofs with traditional and innovative materials, validated through lab experiments and field measurements. The study highlights the effectiveness of targeted interventions, such as optimizing SHGC and improving roof insulation, in reducing energy consumption and enhancing comfort.

This research provides practical insights into the energy challenges of rural tourism households and proposes scalable solutions for energy efficiency and thermal comfort improvements, contributing to sustainable rural development in China.
